About Us
Photography has been a passion for Code Lime Photography founder Serena Pearce for over 30 years.
Her life experiences have been varied and diverse. From her time as a physiotherapist ensuring that people felt at ease in any situation, to the joy of colour when designing & photographing for her former business Hopscotch Children’s Clothing or in Serena’s most recent venture - a Diploma in Photography and AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer. In any situation, Serena’s energy, enthusiasm and passion is infectious.
In more recent times, a sense of advantage combined with a love of travel has seen Serena chased by hippos on the Okavango River, supine in the sands of the Himba tribe, traipsing through the mountain villages of northern Vietnam, enduring the freezing overnight temperatures of Anzac Cove, welcoming dawn at the Pushkar Camel Festival in India, discovering the maze of alleyways in Marrakesh & Fes & experiencing the fascinating culture & history of Iran & The Stans, just to capture that moment in time. Even her much beloved Australia has been seen from behind a camera lens - under the stars in the rugged Kimberley, on deserted beaches in the pristine southwest, shooting the surreal outback images from Cue to Uluru to Arnhem Land to her backyard playground of Cottesloe beach. You can experience these images as well in her Fine Art Store - perfect for your home or office!
Serena established Code Lime Photography in 2009 which has grown from small beginnings to being a leading photography studio specialising in Real Estate & Architectural Photography, Corporate & Domestic Portraiture, Photography Courses & Tours including those run by UWA Extension, Commercial work and Travel Photography. She excels at attention to detail and takes pride in offering a professional, reliable service.

Serena is great to work with. We have used her to photograph our residential projects at Craig Steere Architects. The result is someone who is prompt, flexible and efficient. The photos are great asset that we use in promoting our work.
In her professional work she also continues to show growth and a desire to push boundaries through her travels and her generosity to share some of her insights with her photography workshops.Kelwin Wong - Architect
I was very lucky to take part of real estate photography one day course with Serena! I learned a lot and asked million questions and she had answers for all of them! I definitely feel more smart and got many good tips for future. Shes full of energy and positivity. I'm very motivated and happy after such a great experience. I recently completed the Real estate / Architecture photography course with Serena. I learnt so much in a day and found Serena engaging, very easy to learn from knowledgable and willing to share this knowledge! The day was so enjoyable and hands on, and the detailed notes have been brilliant to refer back to. I highly recommend this course, (and Serena!) for anyone chasing more insight into Architecture and Real Estate photography.Stacey - Real Estate & Architecture Photography course
I usually photograph for leisure and hobby and I got a Nikon D7200 plus some good lenses recently. As happens, I was shooting mostly on Auto mode and needed to get upskilled in various technical aspects. I completed the Beginners and Intermediate DSLR Photography Courses and Lightroom 6. Even if you know a lot about cameras or a fair bit (like me), I would strongly recommend that you do the beginners course before the intermediate one, as it is good to have strong basic concepts and foundations before progressing into the details. The course outline and design is great and ideal for both beginners and those with some progressive knowledge of photography. Both Serena and Andrew are great facilitators and trainers, highly skilled and who tailor the delivery based upon the student’s level of expertise and adapt to the equipment you have. It's priceless to have 2 trainers on such a course, good value. They make the courses a really fun outing and you would not even feel bored for a single moment. Only towards the end of the course will you realise the depth of knowledge and training you have acquired. The photography courses are well supported with high quality course notes that you can reference later on as refresher. The Lightroom course I would also recommend as that way you will gain good training about post-production concepts and have a strong link between live photography and post-processing skills. Overall highly recommended courses!Doc Jana - Beginners, Intermediate & Lightroom courses
Had an excellent beginners session with Serena and she was very obliging to fit in with my schedule.
She was thorough, easy to understand and her enthusiasm is contagious.
I love that she teaches the camera basics whilst incorporating creativity.
Thanks Serena!Sally Phillip - Beginners Photography Course
